i've had the good fortune of experiencing a few weeks of peace and quiet. my family thinks i should really get a job instead of bumming around at home. i know i should and i want to. but it's not like something you'd like would just pop up outta nowhere. and seriously, i'm enjoying this peace and quiet.
it's been a long long while since i've got time to myself... to meet up with old friends and even ex-classmates. had a 4/1 class gathering about 2 weeks back. it's really odd how friends that have not met for over 3 to 5 years can just sit down and start talking like it was only yesterday. yeah.. it does feel like yesterday when we were back in that class at the top right corner of the classroom block in tkgs. i remember the crazy things that happened - water being splashed around in between lessons, the pranks we played on our teachers on april fools, the decorations on the board (chalkboard), the "cat fights".. the times we spent working together as a class - cny decorations, inter-class competitions, sports day, cheerleading... all the countless memories. i guess i've moved on. but i can't help but feel that a part of me is always wishing that time had stopped then.
maybe, just maybe there'll be more memories awaiting... we never know, do we?
