Christmas @ 10:25 PM

yeah yeah. it's Christmas once again. how time flies.

met an old friend before meeting mum last night. i quote, " it's so surreal." it definitely was. didn't know why i called, considering i've been there quite a few times before but never called then. and as God would have had it, she was actually home. it was a really short meet-up (in the rain too), but nonetheless a very heart-warming one.

it's been a rather quiet Christmas for me. no loud countdowns or popping of party crackers. in fact i was on a bus on my way home at the stroke of midnight.

i'm proudly stating here that the highlight of this Christmas was mass this morning. just suddenly felt how fortunate i am, to be loved. don't really know how to describe the feeling, but one thing i know for certain is that there was a moment during mass that i felt so so loved, by my family, friends and of course God.

sounds kinda duh, but this made me realise that Christmas isn't about the large crowds, the noisy countdowns, the presents... it's being surrounded by those that you love and those that love you.

Merry Christmas all. love you lots and lots.
