rejuvinated @ 10:49 AM

it's been a tiring three days. think i'll need some time getting used to this. being on my feet most of the day has somewhat affected my back. oh well, since it's something i'll be doing for the next three years or so, i better get used to it huh? must say that i prefer teaching upper secondary. perhaps it's because they're more matured? or maybe it's because i can related to them better. i don't really know. the marking has come in. but i guess it should be manageable.

i went for ascension mass yesterday night. i was late for mass though. come to think of it, it's been a while since i actually attended a mass alone. somehow attending the mass alone was a great experience, not to say that when i'm not alone it isn't a great experience. everything is a wonderful experience. though i was really tired and distracted by other thoughts at times, i felt at peace, a peace which i had not experience in a long time.

when mass ended and i stepped outside of the church, it was drizzling. the sight of that somehow made my heart jump a little. i love the rain... most of the time anyway. it's been a while since i walked in the rain. it was a nice, cool and refreshing three minute walk to the bus stop. just as i reached the bus stop it started to pour. it was then that i realised how much i'm loved and being watched over. waited about seven to ten minutes for the bus, and who would have thought, just about a minute before the bus came, the rain ceased. once again, i felt loved.

i went for mass, got my walk in the drizzle and stayed dry(well.. almost). thank you Lord for these little things in life that make me feel loved. how much more thankful and grateful am i, for the people whom you've sent me and always made me feel loved.
