 IFC 2001 meet up @ 3:03 AM
this national day was quite a different one. but more than that, it was a really special one. met up with my dear dear batchmates of ifc 2001. the turn out was the best ever. 9 outta 16! new record. haha. sorry la.. i know i haven't made it to the previous few outings. hopefully i'd be able to make it to all the gatherings to come. it's really amazing how all of us, despite not meeting up in a group like that for five years can sit down and chat like it was only yesterday. yes, our paths in life have split from those days of footdrill, evacuation, first aid, arrowing and being arrowed. but yet we never seem to stray far from one another huh? i'm glad our paths have crossed again my dearest batchmates. am looking forward to lunch later today too. =) before the meet up, i guess it's been so long that i forgot how wonderful the company was. now i recall the cadet days, the trainee instructors and finally the instructor days. how i miss the days, the seniors, the juniors, the cadets and of course you all. now it seems that i have this empty part of me to be filled. perhaps i'll fill them with the laughter, the memories, and even the tears we shared. those were the best days of my life. 16 of us.. 15 roses and 1 thorn. photos to be uploaded soon. ps: apologises to yp and jf that you all have to upload the picture without me in it. i'll upload the one with me if i have one. i know you both probably feel quite diao about it, but thanks a bunch for understanding. what more can i say, you guys rock!
