 dying @ 10:36 PM
ah gong was admitted into CGH early last week. the home vacummed out stale blood. the doc said it was from his stomach. he lost alot of blood and had 1 litre of blood tranfused into him. the doc told us to standby. we prepared for the worse. what more hope can one get when the doc says that even doing a scope is too risky and that the hospital will not admit him to ICU even if his condition worsens. worse still, that they're giving him comfort care. my uncles, aunt, ah ma and myself took turns to stay with him. funeral arrangements were made. we even took his photo for enlargement and had it done overnight (of course we had to pay extra, double to be exact). and guess what. he's been discharged. doc said his condition has stabilized. we asked how much time he had, doc said he can't be sure. maybe a few days, months, years, or maybe he'll get better. well.. after hearing what was being said earlier not many would have hope for the latter right? in any case, we're thankful he's better. only problem being we don't know if it's just the calm before the storm. as for me, i just hope he doesn't have to suffer too much. seriously, i have no idea why they even discharged him considering his pee still contains blood, even though it has been 2 days since he was discharged. and when i say his pee contains blood, i mean it's like RED. sigh... and they claim the blood is probably due to an infection which they're already treating. what's becoming of public hospitals...
