some updates @ 10:33 PM

haven't exactly had the time or the mood to blog these days, so i'll just sum up the past few days happenings.

my ah gong's back in the hospital again. lung infection, probably caused by some problem in his swallowing reflex that in turn caused food to enter into the lungs. the infection on its own isn't something to worry about. however, with all his other illnesses and degenerating bodily functions, it isn't looking too good. as much as all of us in the family wish to hold on to him, we know he's suffering. furthermore, his quality of life now is... close to none, if you ask me. so right now, i think most of us are prepared to let him go. all i ask now is that he won't have to suffer so much and that if it's time, there'll be at least one of his loved ones by his side.

last day of work tomorrow. i'll miss them.
