all good things must come to an end @ 10:00 PM

my aunt left for US this morning. managed to arrange for my cousin to send her off before going to school. it's sad seeing how much my aunt wanted to stay and how much my cousin didn't want her to go. i know my cousin will be fine in a day or two, but i'm not so sure about my aunt. anyway i pray she has a safe trip back.

it's been about 4 and a half months since my aunt came back. all this while she's provided for this household - her parents, her son and me. while she was back she paid for practically everything other than the utilities cuz she knows how concerned my grandma has been about finances ever since my grandfather's condition got worse and had to move to another home.

what touched me most was that while all of us (my grandma, my cousin and myself) were alseep last night, she went to top up the detergent in the kitchen and pack up all the household stuff she stocked up, just so that my grandma wouldn't have to do any of these anytime soon. she also wrapped the wantons that all of us have grown to love eating. these aren't great things, but little things done in great love. i finally realised what i admire so much about her.

We can do no great things, only small things with great love.
