last day of work @ 8:20 AM
today was the last day of invigilation for me, as well as the last day of examinations. only about 3 classes of students in total - malay special program and chinese special program students. it's really cool seeing chinese students taking up malay and vice versa. i believe their learning journey is no mean feat, especially for the chinese special program students (particularly those in sec 3). chinese is a tough subject as it is, with all the different characters and all. taking it up with zero knowledge and persevering until sec 3 is something i feel is worth applauding.
papers ended at 10 so i had about 3 hours to fill. got assigned to sort out the music scores for the sec 4 music elective program students. it was really confusing at first, with all the errors made on the cover sheet and my zero knowledge of music. eventually with the help of the teacher, we managed to sort it out into the respective days, teams and sessions. she still has to sort it out into the respective sets for the different examiners! i wanted to help cuz i didn't have anything on the rest of the day, but i got sent off cuz the teachers were going out for lunch and cuz it was already past the hours i needed to clock.
had dinner with my family (my ah ma, cousin, aunt) and my extended family (eldest uncle, his wife and younger son, my youngest uncle, his wife and 2 kids) cuz my aunt's leaving for US today. i know she doesn't want to, we all do, cuz her son will be here, but she's been back for more than 4 months, and i suppose she needs to check in on her business there.
think it's the haze. oh well...
