busy busy day @ 1:52 PM

yesterday was almost jam packed. dragged myself outta bed at 8 plus for mass at 9. which really shouldn't have been the case. nonetheless i think i managed to get something out of it despite being zonked out.

went walking around the mall at my place to look for a suitable gift for nat and leo. wanted flowers but they charged an outrageous price there. so i decided to look for something else. only to realise that the shops were like mostly closed. then again it was like 10.30am. so i guess it's kinda expected. decided to head down to town before i was late for lunch with my batchmates.

got to dhoby gaut kinda early so i decided to pop by carrefour to check out the prices of the flowers. got quite a reasonable price for them so i decided to get them. but because i didn't want the ready made bouquets, i had to wait for the very nice lady there to wrap them for me. it took much longer than i expected, but she did a fantastic job. so guess it was worth the wait. but then i was super late meeting the gang so by the time i got to the mrt they had all left. i was desperately trying to catch up to them so was like half running and half brisk walking. still didn't manage to catch up with them but one thing i discovered, age has caught up with me. haha. okok.. maybe not age, just lack of exercise. i was so breathless i just plonked myself in a seat and didn't get up till quite a bit later.

lunch was fun. we all took tonnes of food for sharing. it's really quite different having a buffet in a large group. you get to take loads of different stuff to try but don't have to finish them all yourself!!! haha.. rocks. which means you get to try alot more stuff then when you go with like one or two other people. haha. i don't think i ate all that much? my appetite has shrunk quite a bit, or so i think la. =P

had to rush off around 2.30 to meet ivan at newton mrt at 3. took a bus down to nanyang girls' for the concert. we reached around 3.30 so had a bit of time to kill. anyway, the concert was interesting. nice blend of music and instruments. i'm not good with music stuff so not much to comment ba. managed to take some pictures after the concert after much effort persuading everyone to get into the picture. roarr! the 1st group pic was too hard cuz we were facing the wrong side. the 2nd was better but ivan looked like a passer-by that just happened to walk into the pic! *whacks*

will upload the pics soon ba. went for dinner with icy and ivan at adam road food centre. ivan didn't eat... *bish* lol. his face like buried in his psp. started to rain just after we left the place so we all got kinda wet. thankfully a cab came by and we all rode to commonwealth mrt where we all could find our way back home.

I GOT MY NEW DESKTOP TODAY!!! many thanks to shaun aka icy. for buying and assembling the parts, installing all the software i needed and more (i finally got anti-virus on my comp =P haha) and of course for accompanying his dad up early this morning so i could save on cab fare. so paiseh can. thanks again icy.. thanks to your brother and dad too.
icy: i think you can get part time work custom-making people's comp le. =P
