tiring/fruitful/enjoyable weekend @ 1:07 AM

as per title. it's been a tiring week. don't feel well rested and ready for the week ahead. but nonetheless, i'll drag myself through it. though tiring i must say it was a fruitful and well spent weekend.

slept around 3+ 4 in the morning on saturday and woke around 9+ for tuition. went out with my mum in the afternoon to get a new printer. my old one has been with me since uni year 1, so i guess it's about retirement age too =x think there's a problem with the printer head. the left margin is always blurred and it take me up to 5 prints to get a copy that isn't cut off on the right. zzz think it'd be more practical to get a new one as the servicing would probably cost maybe cost to $100. anyway i got a brother inkjet. had wanted a laser printer but decided on the inkjet in case i needed to print any coloured materials. cost $158 with a $8 rebate. more money... but well, i guess it's want of those needs rather than wants ba. i could print at school, which is what i've been doing since school started, but it's not exactly convenient ba.

went for mass on saturday evening. think i was kinda tired cuz i kept dozing off (not proud to say this, but it's something that i've gotta admit). came home had dinner then had zkm. as usual hung around till past 12, surfed the net, chat on msn and went to bed around 1 or so.

got up around 9 plus on sunday morning thinking i could do some work but ended up doing the things i did before i went to bed =x

left for city hall to meet OT and boon2 to go down to the job fair at suntec. and nope, i'm not planning to break my bond or anything. just go see see nia. besides i doubt any company would want to pay off my bond ba. job fairs have become increasingly high tech. since i wasn't looking around for a job i just tagged owllie and collected flyers and freebies. my best haul... the addidas sports bottle below. owllie got 1 too. it's apparently made in italy =x


had lunch at subway followed by a jumbo yami yogurt ice cream *yum yum* always loved that. walked around a bit and contemplated alot on whether we should go for ktv cuz there wasn't any partyworld outlet around. checked out the prices at kbox. kinda ex. but plus point was that we could sing from 2 to 7pm. finally decided to take up the package since we had no other place in mind. oddly, the 5 hours seemed like a pretty long time. we were like taking turns to go outta the room for a walk. oh yes, we had quite alot of fun tossing the tibits into our mouths (and dropping them all over =P). on another note, i doubt i'd make a good private investigator. every time i tried to sneak out to toss the nuts into the bin and refill the containers with more crackers than nuts, a staff would pop outta nowhere even after i checked if the coast was clear before i opened the door *roarr*

parted ways with totti and boon2 after ktv. brought owllie to 别府 ramen aka the 八个辣 ramen place. i'd really strongly recommend the place for a decent filling meal at an affordable price. even more so if you like soupy stuff and like your soup spicy. but not to worry if you can't take spicy food. there's always the 1 chilli option or the no chilli ones =)

went to the JL at marina square after dinner to pick up owllie's dad's birthday present. picked out 2 sets of work attire - 2 shirts and 2 pants at only $18!!! oops. forgot to mention that she had $55 worth of vouchers as cash rebates from the last time she shopped there.

got a little tired after all that shopping and rummaging through the stacks of clothes. besides we had planned on having coffee at tcc long ago. so we stopped by tcc at city link to rest our feet and back and of course have our coffee. we decided on something different this time. we both picked out coffee with liquor. owllie got the irish coffee (whisky added) while i had the ice kahlua mocha (that's coffee flavoured liquor). think we both found a new reason to visit tcc a little more. the liquor goes pretty well with the coffee, gives it a dry and crisp aftertaste. check out my pretty drink below =)


after that it was home sweet home. oh yes, i forgot to mention. owllie's face had a tinge of red after her drink =x i realised it feels really wonderful being in good company with a good glass of coffee. yes, i'm a coffee addict.
