the past month has been especially exhausting and i'm entirely drained - mentally, physically and emotionally. work and relationships with people have been well difficult to manage. pardon me for having a short fuse. i guess i've somehow lost the ability to control my emotions.
deepest apologies to leo.
i've always been unable to manage my emotions adequately. perhaps it's why emotionally exhausted translates into mental and physical exhanustion. i know the solution to any problem is to face it. but i also know that this is easier said than done. it's easier to fall asleep when you no longer have the capacity to do anything.
some things have deeply upset and disappointed me. i hate the feeling of being cheated and kept in the dark. in a short week, two or three of such incidents are just one too many when you don't have the ability to even speak. if you know me, you'd know i'm not the quiet sort. so if i don't talk much or don't even say much in reply, something's not right. to those who have been around me these past weeks, you'd know how little i say in comparsion to my usual self.
yes, it's the school hols, but somehow i think the only time i'll really be able to put things aside and relax is when i'm away the following week. then again, i'm not sure if i'll get sms or calls when i'm away.
oh well, till the next time which is i don't know when... take care my dearest friends.

Our Deepest Fear
by Marianne Williamson from A Return To Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
