catching up @ 11:48 PM

did quite alot catching up today. something i always look forward to but rarely get to do. met cyn, jf and jo for lunch today at suntec's bie fu. the ramen there's not bad, especially if you can take spicy food. the spicy-ness of the ramen range from 1 to 8 chilli. i stick to the 2 chilli now. it allows you to taste the spicy-ness and yet still enjoy the soup. unless you are a super chilli eater, don't go beyond 2 chilli ba. speaking from experience =x first time at bie fu i tried the 4 chilli, thinking that 8 chilli would be unbearable and 1 would almost be like no chilli and so decided on the middle 4 chilli. i tell you.. i almost died =x i ate till i felt my ear, nose and throat burning and i was almost sobbing into the tissue paper. for once i was draining the soup off my noodles (i love my soup).

morale of the story - stick with 1 or 2 chilli if you haven't tried it before

anyway after lunch we walked around suntec a little. and as you know, no meal is complete without dessert! especially when there's a yami yogurt outlet around. haha =P

we headed over to the uob at marina square while passing through millenia walk. realised it's not bad a hang out if you want to chill out in the city area yet wanna be away from the crowd.

talked alot over lunch and while walking around. of course, we could never get away from our pet topic - red cross. haha. i miss those days, perhaps more than anyone would ever know. i miss the fun, laughter, and even the tears, and most of all the people. i guess in many ways, being part of red cross has impacted my life. from being the independent me, to the neurotic me. i'd not be who i am if it wasn't for those times.

let's hang out more and reminisce some more soon =)
