officially 24 on this day.

hard to imagine another year has passed me by. so many things have happened since then.

on this day, i was overwhelmed right from 10 mins before the stroke of midnight. thank you all for the well wishes (sms, cards, blog post). somehow, it seemed as though i never got this many wishes before. thanks for all the presents (including those man-made ones. so much effort =x) and birthdays treats too. getting your wishes and being able to meet you all is already more than sufficient.

破费了。满满的心意，我每一点都感受到了。真的感动。

in school the kids were so cute. their cards and gifts so 可爱。but frankly so paiseh to accept presents from them =x but they buy le, don't accept like very mean. of course, there's the question why i told them. partly cuz they said the other teachers told them and also cuz i thought i wouldn't see them during exam time. really touched by the cards and what the kids wrote. i'll miss them this month plus of hols, but the up side is that i'm posted back =)

met owl to go down to sim lim to get her ds after work. successful got the colour of her choice and the price was not that far out of her budget. walk through bugis village to bugis junction. got a little tired and decided to sit down and have a drink and a small bite since it was still some time before dinner. we visited the arcade for a little while after that, and i once again "donated" to the basketball machine =x i seriously got to get one of those before i go broke "donating" to it. haha.

cyn ee ee joined us for dinner at tcc. we each and a soup which was really filling. owl and me got an appetitizer while cyn ee ee got a main. to top it off, nothing beats a good old irish coffee frappe and dessert (owl got a cheesecake). soooooooooooo full !!! haha. oh yah, cyn ee ee got me a present too. part of it includes this cute 五月天 pic - made up of their real pic as well as the comic one =)

though on my way home i suddenly felt lost and kinda sad, the day was really great. why did i feel that way, i don't quite know. i don't suppose it's because my birthday ended. i believe that birthdays are one day in a year which others celebrate who you are. the other 364 days, you're supposed to celebrate who you are.

well, like i said before, guess i'm just one emotional and sentimental person. haha.
